I decided to join this Web site to keep up with what's going on in the world of aikido, especially as I can't attend classes much any more due to work commitments (a job with evening hours.)
I belong to a school in Watertown NY that was formerly affiliated with Nihon Goshin but is now independent. I like both the physical and the "off-mat" aspects of aikido, which I've practiced for about 10 years but don't consider myself particularly good at. I'm 53 years old and glad and I can do the falls and rolls, etc. It's all good fun as well as instructive.
