launguage verses understanding

How many times has the language or formation of words ... eluded your understanding of the question?

Either by the Japanese terms in these forums, or the way the words were put together, I see a lot of lost in understanding responses that are just plain rude?

It seems, the forms of answers and questions I have posed in this forum evokes insulting overbearing behavior from responders, which is nonsense, because words do not have emotions until spoken.

Anyway, in the arena of answers like misogi, masakatsu agatsu ... should references to terms of Japanese thought be valid when in fact the words describe a combination of movements, behavior, and emotion ... or should the longer text of description by each persons experience be used to try to attain clarity?

Or does the point of this question in relevence to Aikido Elude you?

It shouldn't.

Words.

Language.

Understanding of language.

Thoughts related to your aikido?

We could practice silently, forever ...

... or we can try to talk?

Bruce, anytime anyone speaks or in the case of forums writes something, they are bound to be misunderstood by someone. People just don't think alike.
You're right about written words not having emotion, but neither do spoken ones. Words convey or evoke emotion, and the emotions will vary person to person.

If you find a post rude learn what you can from it and either try to find out why a misunderstanding occurred or if you can't be bothered, forget about it.
Following rules of etiquette helps to avoid these things. And sincere apologies help to clear them up.
