Hi everyone,

So, as you can see, the AikiWeb.com server is back online.

It looks like the motherboard failed on Saturday (with the BIOS POST hanging during the drives detection phase). Unfortunately, I don't have any good computer stores nearby so I had to place a next-day air order online. The new motherboard, CPU, and memory (I had to order all three since the old motherboard and suitable replacements were no longer available) arrived today and I was able to swap things out pretty quickly. And here we are!

Sorry for the downtime, folks. I'm working on a solution that I'm hoping will keep these kinds of things from happening -- stay tuned...

Jun, what sort of platform is aikiweb built on?

i see the forum is php, but doesn't seem fully integrated into the the whole site.

is the rest of the site built on any kind of CMS?

anyway, glad you got things up and running again and i gave the facebook page an add. :cool:
