Hi everyone!

I'm currently a student at Aikido Shugyo Dojo, in Toronto, Ontario, under Fran Turner Sensei. I've been studying now for about a year, and have found myself becoming increasingly addicted (and yes, I've read the You Know You're an Aikido Addict When thread).

When I'm not at the dojo, I'm working in technical support/QA for a web-based software company, gardening (when the weather allows), and spending time with my fantastically supportive wife.

Speaking of which, she deserves a shout-out here; while she doesn't practice Aikido, she never gives me a hard time about my training schedule, and even comes out to events at the dojo to take photos (she's a fantastic amateur photog).

I had the opportunity to attend a seminar where your sensei taught (in the DC area). A good, if overwhelming, experience. :D

Hi Carrie! Yeah, I love Sensei's classes - they tend to be very intense, but a lot of fun!
