Howard, would love to come up, but I have used up all my "wife cards" in the last few weeks, so I have to rebuild them maybe next time, I'd really like to come up and train with you sometime!

I am very glad to have attended this seminar taught by Kaizen Taki. I was very, VERY impressed with Kaizen's wealth of knowledge and ability to convey this knowledge so that people could experience real learning at a tangible level.
The most impressive aspect of Kaizen's teachings, was in his ability to help us focus on self-development through discovering layers of body fear and experience means and methods of working through these fears.
I think that Systema provides a teaching methodology that should be experienced by any Aikido teacher. We have a lot to learn from this clearly thought-out teaching methodology.
How does it relate/differ from what you experienced from Kenji Ushiro and Dan Harden?

The Kaizen Taki Seminar was awesome.
The approach was really different, as Mark said.
Everything was done really slowly, with the idea of finding out where tension is located in your body. Some of the tension was mechanical, but some was fear based as well.
We will absolutely be having Kaizen back again.
I would also like to thank the guys from FightHouse who came out to bring their knowledge as well.
It was really a great time. Besides, I've never been hit so hard by so many different people :)

sounds like it was a great seminar! Wish I could've attended, but November is busy around here with birthdays. I will keep an eye out for other seminars with Kaizen.
