Hi,

I'm interested in Aikido, but have not yet begun to practice. I am interested in finding practitioners here in south central Alabama and haven't found any yet.

My son (age 29) is just beginning his studies in Aikido in New Hampshire, and he has sparked my interest. I posted in the general section looking for a school here in Alabama. If you can point me in the right direction, please let me know!

I'm a 53 yo woman who quit a career as a computer consultant to become a personal trainer and what I call a "life adventure trainer" for women. I coach running, teach mountain biking and kayaking and arrange additional "adventure" experiences. I practiced Shotokan karate many, many years ago, but have not gone back to martial arts since I quit when my son was very, very young.
