What a shame.
The truth is we have no chance of fixing this problem until we are willing to address our monetary policy. . . but since that is apparently off limits for discussion in politics today, we are more likely on a collision course with serfdom.
Money is the most basic element of our economy and probably the least understood. Most people don't know what money is, where it comes from, or why it matters.
Until we separate money from government and remove all privileges from the banking industry we will continue to have inflation, expansion of both size and power of the federal government, needless wars of aggression, reckless spending on unpopular programs, a growing gap between the rich and poor, and the boom-bust cycle.
