I noticed the rate of flaming was down since I left... we'll have to change that ;).

My cruise was fine. I got a horrible sunburn all down my back, which made Saturday morning ukemi fun. Fortuneately my sensei had mercy and had us do ikkyo and sankyo for a bit. One of my sensei, as I learned, will stop you if you do a technique incorrectly by putting his hand on your back (shihonage especially), which made me definitely not want to mess up :). After that, it was ryo-kata randori to wish me "happy birthday."

Also, I got an email from Shihan saying we were doing ushiro waza tuesday, so hopefully my sunburn is gone by then (oh I do hope) :).

But, as much fun as the cruise is, it's good to be back to the dojo and back here annoying the heck out of all of ya :).
