AWA annual summer training will again be held at Kiku Matsu dojo in Chicago. Instruction will be provided by AWA Chief Instructor Andrew Sato Sensei, Rokudan Aikikai. A period of intensive training during the height of summer, Shochugeiko is meant to build one's spirit to face the adversities in life. The week-long session will push you to find your spirit and realize the power you have to gracefully conduct your daily life. Tachiwaza, suwariwaza and bukiwaza will be covered. Please bring your jo and bokken. Lodging is available at the dojo.
