Film of top-level aikidoka in contention ?

I haven't got any, just musing about film footage which might exist of top-level aikidoka in some kind of contentious bout with non-aikidoka.
I have seen ONE, that of Koichi tohei and the big American sort of pushing each other around a bit in a dojo.
You who have also seen it can explain the location and time better than I can.
Hmm... can't find it in the search or youtube right now, maybe someone can jump in and give the link.

Does anyone have access to film or video of any other such contest, be it pushing, wrestling or fighting and all inbetween?
(Please please do NOT include stories or descriptions of unfilmed bouts)

Sounds like the "rough and tumble" between Tohei Sensei and Herman which I remember being discussed before here (http://www.aikiweb.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13698&highlight=herman+tohei).

Everything happens "too darn easily" in part one, the bout between Tohei and Herman is in part two and Lee Green receives technique from Osensei in part three.

I have seen film of Christian Tissier sparring with a karate practitioner, but since this was at a martual arts demonstration I suspect that it was not 100% "contentious"...

Yes thats right...... Looks like Shodokan aikidoka doing crappy randori kyogi.... When it comes down to it, even if a friendly bout you will find that one a hard one as they don't like to be shown up you know..... all the pretty flowing stuff goes out the window......:rolleyes: ;) :D

From your "Rendezvous" links only part three (which must be manually pasted as your link url dosn't match your intended url) right at the end involves contention ... the aferementioned tussle with Tohei.
