Anyone else practice Tai chi along with Aikido? I feel it helps me to relax, focus/find my canter and greatly inproves my balance.

I've had several months of t'ai chi after I was well-established in aikido. It is wonderful for me in that it brings focus to things such as relaxation, weight distribution / shifting weight, and so forth. It is great for refining what I already do as well as adding new perspective (and new elements) to my current practice.

Yes, T'ai Ch'i is also meant to connect with our inner chi, or Ki, which is also a goal of Aikido.
