Okay, someone posted this on my MySpace page, so I'm not certain of the validity. If it is indeed true, then it should be rather interesting. Maybe.
Punchy B-movie action star will sock it to criminals on A&E in "Lawman"; series will follow him as he works as deputy in New
Orleans.
"The ponytailed tornado of fists and joint-popping aikido moves known as Steven Seagal has landed his own reality television show courtesy of--not MTV or Spike TV--A&E.", reports Variety.
"So what will Steven Seagal be doing? Cooking?
Interior decoration? Extreme makeovers? No, Seagal will be doing what he does best--kicking crooks' butts."
"Steven Seagal: Lawman will follow the Under Siege star as he works as a part-time deputy in New Orleans. Cameras will be on hand not only as Seagal does his duties keeping the street clean, but also as he lives as a family man, musician, and New Orleans do-gooder."
"I decided to work with A&E on this series now because I believe it's important to show the nation all the positive work being accomplished here in Louisiana," Seagal said.
"Lawman" is scheduled to premiere late next year.

Used to be that Hollywood Squares was the place careers went to die. Now it's reality shows.
Not that there's anything wrong with reality tv shows. I do enjoy the occasional food themed show like The Next Iron Chef. Still, some are better than others.
