Hi everyone,

I just wanted to mention that there will be an Aunkai mini-seminar/show'n'tell to take place in SanFrancisco on Sept. 14th (Sunday).
The duration will be about 6 hours, 3 of which will be indoors in some matted space generously acquired by some friends.

Ark will NOT be at this seminar, (sorry to disappoint), so it'll just be myself + my meager skills.

The event will roughly cover half conditioning exercises/usage (yes more excruciating exercises)

and half Ark's approach to using the conditioning for use in the ring (ie kickboxing, mma etc) -> more excruciating exercises, but you get to wear gloves and hit something to vent your frustrations. :D

Anyone is welcome to attend, including those who have never met Ark or myself.
The fee is 60$, and you can contact me for more information at drunknupyu at gmail.com, or pm here at Aikiweb.

I apologize for the short notice, but this was a last minute deal that kind of popped up over the last month.

Look forward to seeing everyone there.

A few of us did a similar (although even shorter due to time constraints) workshop with Rob a couple months back and it was excellent. Always good to get feedback on what you've been working on and the introduction to some of the more applied aspects of the Aunkai training system was equally interesting and (in typical Aunkai style) exhausting. Go get some. :D

I'll second that recommendation. It's helpful to get a check-in/tune-up, and also to see what the next step is. If you wear your thinking cap, you can extrapolate important grappling mechanics from many of the striking drills he demos.

Don't miss if in SF!

If you have seen any of these discussions online and would like a feel first hand, this would be a great opportunity to do so.

Rob gives excellent descriptions and is more than willing to help anyone interested in these skills.
