I am not sure if this is the correct forum...being as I am new...but here is what I need assistance with. I am looking for web sites that display aikido symbols. I am having a ring made and am looking for symbols the jeweler can use on this ring. I have found a few but I thought since this was an aikido site your members may have ideas that I haven't come across.
ANY assistance would be appreciated.
Thank you

circle - :circle:
square - :square:
triangle - :triangle:
ai - :ai:
ki - :ki:
do - :do:
pine tree - representative of endurance and longevity
plum blossoms - representative of courage and purity of character
bamboo - representative of strength and flexibility
i remember seeing alot of symbols in "The Spiritual Foundations of Aikido" by William Gleason. Might want to take a look.
- oh yeah, a bearded, balding, smallish old guy in a white hakama pretty much sums it up for me!

I just bought the Gleason book and it does have a wealth of kanji that might meet your needs.
