:D I do almost anything for Cadbury's White Chocolate Fingers...Unfortunately they are so hard to get here... :(

Yeah, but in Germany you have those cool chocolate eggs with the toys inside...except I always had 'extra pieces' left over after putting mine together....

It's a tie for me: Peanut M&Ms if I am flying, as they fit nicely in a G suit pocket and can be eaten between sorties, and any other time those Belgium chocolate seashells...

OK, I admit it, I am an addict...

oou yea.. the chocolate egg, just love that, chocolate in the outside, white in the inside + toys.

hard choice.. i love licorice, but chocolates too, candy bar too...!

But i just gotta have Maltesers (choco covered honeycomb..) :D

Yeah, those eggs...Don't ask what I had to go through when they started on the LotR figures. My boyfriend is a real Tolkien addict and we opened more than 70 eggs to get a complete set of the Fellowship. Chocolate, toys anyone? :D

Ah jeez, I think I'm on either Twizzlers or Mike & Ike's right now. I'm definitely into the gummy thing.

Mmmm. Cadbury eggs at easter. The best is when you freeze them for a couple of hours. *drool*

Definitely a good quality dark chocolate- Reids is my favorite. (a small company in Cambridge Ontario) It should be considered an essential food group.

Reeses Pieces. Peanutbuttery goodness.

I don't know if it qualifies as candy. But has anyone here dranken a cup of liquid dutch chocolate? It's like a heart attack in a mug and boy does it taste good.

Ah, the happy thread, I like it!
You know, I love gummy candy, but I'm living in Japan, and it just doesn't exist here!

Nice dark chocolate. Bitter is good too. And not American chocolate... I prefer European chocolate. No specifics though, just high quality!

If all else fails, then I can enjoy a good Twix bar !

The best inexpensive chocolate I ever had was Verkade (Dutch). It cost about the same as Hershey's but wasn't as waxy and they had four or five different shades from milk to extra dark. See's candy is a west-coast standard. Warren Buffet liked it so much he bought the company so no one could change it. My grandparents used to get See's every Christmas so it's become a fourth generation tradition. It's the happy habit.

My apologies in advance to all the Belgian and Swiss chocolatiers, but IMHO, the best chockies in the world are made in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Favorite Candy of this Aikidoka?

1. Kahlua-flavored truffles (either milk or dark chocolate): liquor + gourmet chocolate-- what more can you say?

2. PopRocks: fun, nostalgic, and a little bit... dangerous.

Serious chocolate connosieurs, check this out:

Truffles - handmade in small batches, and so expensive that I can at most afford 4 of them at a time... http://www.moonstruckchocolate.com or (my favorite) http://www.vosgeschocolate.com/ Their catalog is what pornography would be if you replaced the concept of "sex" with "consumption of theobroma" :D
