There will be a benefit seminar for Todd Martin sensei (5th dan) at Aikido of Northampton (http://www.aikidoofnorthampton.org/) on Saturday, August 16th from 10am-4pm.

The featured instructors will be Yoshimitsu Yamada sensei (8th dan), Benjamin Pincus sensei (5th dan), Skip Chapman sensei (5th dan), and Vu Ha sensei (5th dan).

I highly recommend this seminar and would attend if I were able. These are all excellent instructors and it is for a great cause. I have seen Todd Martin sensei teach a number of seminars with my sensei(Ben Pincus sensei), and not only does he seem like a great human being, he is also an excellent Aikidoka.

I only know what my sensei told me, but it looks like he has developed
some mystery ailment that affects his motor functions. They think that it might be Wilson's disease but they are not sure.

I remember Todd when he was an uchi-deshi at the NY Aikikai. He is a great guy and excellent aikido practioner. It saddens me to know he is ill...
