I am new to this forum and my account was just been activated.
I want to say hello to everyone on this board and it's nice to be here.
I did Wadokai for a while (in Chula Vista, California) but I stopped almost 20 years ago due to getting married and having 2 kids to support and to spend time caring for them. Now I am 48 and I am thinking on getting some formal training in Aikido. I've been looking around here in the Las Vegas area for some reputable Aikido Dojo. Is affiliation's with clubs or associations important to a dojo? Do they need to be affiliated with the Hombu Dojo? Or,, just any Aikido schools will be good as long as they practice the art? If you know a school here in the Vegas area please let me know as right now I am really excited in joining one.
Thanks again to everyone and it's a pleasure to be here.
Thank you for your introductions. I hope you can find a good place to train near you.

Thank you very much for the warm welcome Jun and Larry. This is the most informative and the friendliest forum about Aikido that I've been to.
Again, Thank you all very much.
