The Fans are a female weapon. The 3 sectional is a male weapon. One is large and menacing. It is a form of Male Presentation. The other "looks" weak and defenseless.

The female uses control and finesse. She must use other attributes to make up for the "strength" of the male weapon.

Notice that over time, both students have acquired "yin/female" attributes of finesse, control, timing and rhythm. They don't need to "bash" with physical strength. They are laser like in their accuracy.

It must have been difficult to hold a 3-sectional staff training session in such a small area. If you don't mind my asking, what style is this from?

thank you.
