Hiya,
Recently there's been a lot of energy circulating kids on the path. I think, although it's not that important, it is a result of some 'negatives' and a celebration of some 'positives'. In any case, it is awesome to notice the next generation and to share the wonders of aikido along with them.

Here's a great video to enjoy while you sip your tea this a.m..

Ahhh...you never know how or when that Yoshinkan "way" will creep into your life!!

Too bad more adults don't practice with that sort of concentrated spirit.

Kindly,

Charlie B.

Jennifer, Thanks for sharing that encouraging video.
It is a good reminder that our Warrior Way is about self-development through Aikido. It is not just learning how to defend our life but how to live it to the fullest. That is why I started the Martial Arts and why I stay in the Martial Arts. It helps me to be a little more humble, a little more kinder, a little more nicer to everyone.

Randy,
You're very welcome.

I found it to be a good reminder in the same way as you. After viewing the video I also found myself answering ( to myself) a question I'm asked so often, "What does a black belt mean?" I
heard my inner-self say,' it means humiity in the face of knowing so little yet having the tools to learn/do so much.'

Plus, those kids are so dang fresh!!! Osu!
