I suppose I must be brief as I'm on a break at work. I'm 26, work at an insurance co., have a B.A. in English/Philosophy. As a young child I studied a bit of Taekwondo, but have only really toyed with the idea of martial arts since then. My stepson has started karate (Chito-Ryu) recently, and I've since been inspired to start looking for a dojo. Aikido has always fascinated me, so I'm looking to start training. I live in springville, AL, but work in Birmingham. I'm considering the Aikido of Birmingham Dojo, but would love some feedback on a good place to start.
