Hello,

I`m Lotta ( 52 years old) from Germany.

I began with Aikido in 1988.
In 1992 I came to know the Women`s Aikido Camps which
at that time took place in France or Switzerland or Germany
depending on whom would be the organisators.

These camps still exist with one week in summer.

We always invite a female trainer to give the classes, which
is a wonderful possiblilty to learn from a person of our own
gender.
We live together, eat, drink, chat, sing and dance and so on -
and have a lot of fun.

I`d like to come in contact with other women who do Aikido
and perhaps are interested in Women`s Aikido.

Hopefully waiting for your answers

till soon

Lotta

Hi Brigitte

My name is Cynthia and I'm 22 years old. I've been practicing Aikido for almost 3 years now and found it amazing, specially since I'm very bad at sports and also a little clumpsy, but for some reason I'm pretty good at Aikido and that is like a miracle =)

Unfortunately, I live at Panama Republic, and that is quite far from the places where you do this women meetings, but I would absolutely love to attend to one someday. Think its an excellent idea.

Regards and ikkyos!

Cynthia.

Hi Brigitte!
I would enjoy attending a women's aikido seminar. Currently I am the only woman in my school. I would gladly share the locker room!

Hi Brigitte,
One of my instructors Lorraine DiAnne Shihan taught at a women's seminar in France some years ago. She is still going strong. You might like to check out her website http://www.westsideaikido.com/LDA_info.htm
