The Shudokan Aikido Association will host a major Seminar in the gymnasium of the Texas A & M International University at Laredo, Texas. The dates will be on the weekend of April 12 and 13. The seminar hotel will be the beautiful La Posada Hotel which is offering all seminar participants a greatly reduced rate. We have structured the times so that people from Austin, San Antonio, Mexico and nearby cities can drive in on Saturday morning as we will be having the sessions begin at noon on Saturday. For participants coming in from the San Antonio area (I35), you can exit on Loop 20, this will save you quite a bit of time. Loop 20 is quite north of Laredo and you will miss the traffic and manuevering around Laredo if you follow Loop 20. Once you get to the University, follow the signs. You will park in the back part of Texas A&M International University.

Follow the signs from the parking lot towards the gymnasium. The seminar is in the top level of the gymnasium. Showers & dressing rooms are downstairs on the main floor. either take the elevator to the balcony or take the stairs. Please be early to warm up on your own before Kato Shihan takes to the mat....

Also remember to reserve your room at our seminar hotel - La Posada Inn (lasposadainn.com). Mention the aikido group and get the $85 fee. Please reserve your room as you are not guaranteed this price on Saturday - especially if you want until after the seminar to get your room. The regular room rate is $129...
