Shinichi Suzuki sensei of the Maui Ki Aikido (http://www.hawaiikiaikido.org) dojo has received his 9th dan ranking.

"In the aikido world, this is the very highest distinction a teacher can receive," said Chris Curtis, a 7th-degree black belt and chief instructor of the Hawaii Ki Federation. "Suzuki sensei’s students are filled with gratitude that his years of sacrifice on our behalf have been honored in this way."
