Hi all
I'm putting together an Aikido community website so that us poor souls adrift in the Sotuh pacific have a non-political, non style specific forum to list our dojos, instructor profiles, seminars etc.

I'd appreciate anyone reading this from NZ to drop me a line with all your details (if I haven't already listed you) as this site will be useless unless it gets regular contributions.

Thanks for all the grest responses so far!! Still need more info on the various Aikikai dojo's though (not just stuff about Takase sensei!! LOL) and still missing info on the various Yoshinkan dojos. addresses, phone numbers, instructors, websites etc please.

If you're looking for information on Yoshinkan schools both in Australia and New Zealand, there are two places to look.

1. http://www.yoshinkan.net/contentsE/shibuE.html - Listing of all IYAF registered schools.

2. http://www.seikeikan.com/yoshinkandojo.php - same list as above including non-IYAF registered schools. Still Yoshinkan, just not formerly registered. No big deal.

hey Dunken, all the aikikai in NZ is under Takase Shihan as far as I'm aware other than Alan Wade (who is connected to Takase) and Rosso Fernandez?

There also seems to be several dojo in NZ connected to Aikikai through California Aikido Association (www.ai-ki-do.org)
