Yep, he just got back from Germany to take his 3rd Dan test....and obviously, passed it. Im excited to see how he's grown also, because it's been a long time since he's been able to train with his master instructor, Sensei Nakajima. Class should be full of energy tonight!

Congrats to your sensei. I was born and raised so to speak in Southwestern MI and hope to get back there some day. Too damn hot in Texas for my scandinavian heritage. Michigan is a small state so I hope to get around some when I get to move back.

Doc, we have to stop missing each other like this. I was born and raised in Pontiac (part of the Detroit factory belt) until I was picked up in the last draft call in 72. And, I am of Swedish and Bohemian descent.

Spent a year at Central Michigan in Mt. Pleasant. Would be a nice visit.
