So I have been watching this site with the "active" members/ guest lists on the bottom of the screen.
It will say something like 11 members and 390 guests
But everytime I add it up and doesn't even come close. I mentioned this a month ago in the dojo and everyone saw it too.
An example this moining was 7 members and 485 guests.
I counted 6 members-my log in is hidden- so are others I assume. But only 193 "Guests."
So where are the other 292 guests?

It happens everyday.

Hi Dan,

I'll see if I can take a look into it.

Hi Jun.
No worries. It's just a fun thing we have noticed. Today for example; 254 people turned into 442!!:D

Typical of sites run by males... always claimin' things are bigger than they really are. Even readership! (grinning and running faaaar away) :D

Hi Dan,

I'm not too sure where you're getting your numbers, but I just took a look. Currently, it says "Currently Active Users:463 (7 members and 456 guests)." Going to the Who's Online (http://www.aikiweb.com/forums/online.php) page and counting everyone on it lets me see that there are, indeed, 463 users online currently, although most are search bots...

Hope that helps,

Some of us with multiple personalities count for more than one, and if each one of us has multiple perspectives then the numbers go beyond comprehension.

Curious observation though. Now my eyes keep checking it out.

What the hey is the "Yahoo! Slurp Spider" ?

is most of the guests just replicated Yahoo bots ?
how annoying.
