Interesting article. Reminds me of a documentary on scientists who tested a Chinese Qigong healer with ULF microphones placed at the centre of his palms and found that a sound vibration pulsed from these points at a frequency of 6-8hz when he was supposed to have been channeling Qi.

It's interesting how "modern" science attempts to explain a universe it can only perceive through a pin hole :)

If science can't explain "something", it's difficult to see how "the 21st Century will see a paradigm shift..." :rolleyes:

I would tend to agree with your assessment.

However, one thing I've been following, albeit very indirectly, are the recent studies which Chiropractors have begun undertaking. In other words, they are trying to find out if the practice works as advertised. My opinion is that if ki healing, etc. really works, then it ought to stand up to impartial study. Not sure that we're getting that here but at least it's kind of an attempt.

I think he means conventional science can't explain it YET (current theories). When it does manage to (ie. solve the mystery) you will see a pardigm shift.

History of science is full of those including the examples that they gave. Of course much of what was attributed to Qi in the past has been explained by science. Think of the four humors of old western medicine.
