Oprah and Warren Buffett, both endorse Obama for president. I personally like Mike Gravel, but I always listen to what the "Old Man" has to say.

Well billionaires have the money to run the country regardless of who is in office - so I suppose in the long run, it doesnt matter.

Im not against billionaires at all, I wouldnt mind be a trillionaire. ;)
But the point is made...those with the cash control what happens in the world to a large extent. Whether for good or bad - and there is a lot of good. All depends on your perspective.

Peace

Yes for Billionaire Warren Buffett, who ends up winning the election will not really effect his lifestyle. I think he is a person of integrity and character. He tries to give public statements to help notify the avg. joe of certain issues. A democrat like Hillary or Obama, will probably increase the taxes for the wealthy to pay for universal health care or something. A move that WB sees as good for the masses, especially since Bush's agendas mostly benefited the wealthy minority.

While Ron Paul or Mike Gravel resonate stronger with certain people, the reality is they will not win or achieve the buy-in from their political peers to get the right changes done. WB has the insight from the corporate world to see what an uphill battle these canidates will face even if elected.

Billionaires are people that we cannot understand. Millionaires are also people that we cannot understand for that matter. But when we look beside the wealth, people are people who engage with old age, loneliness, sickness, and death.

In gassho,

Barack Obama has also said that 90% of his current campaign donations were made by separate individuals and donated $100 or less. He isn't just getting support from billionaires, you know. :)
Boy, do I love that guy though... I watched a speech of his on religion in America today online, and it was brilliant!
