im located Kingston Upon Hull UK and train in a soft style Aikido
following the training of my teacher Allan Pirie. Our club is family based parents are encuraged to train with there children, i have a son and daughter training. My son is now 24 and has trained from 8yrs of age. By traing together you learn for each other, chidren soon learn and practise beter when in mixed company, its a good leson for adutls to be controled by a child.
In my 20odd years training i have come across "diferent types"
of Aikido, i am of the opinion that we should celerbrate our diferences, rather than use them to keep us seperated. My teacher
discribed Aikido like dimond shining back at you, turn it round another facet shines bright.
