Dear all,
Anybody Knows This Instructor?

Does anybody knows about LJUBOMIR LJUBA VRACAREVIC Sensei of Yugoslavia, 8th Dan, founder of Real Aikido and of the World Centre of Real Aikido, an international organization with representatives in many countries ?
Vracarevic Sensei seems to have trained with many important masters, of what he calls "Original Aikido", such as Hiroshi Tada Sensei and Kisshomaru Doshu(Aikikai), Gozo Shioda Sensei and Tsutomu Chida Sensei (Yoshinkai) and Kenji Shimizu Sensei (Tendokan Aikido).
Any information will be helpful

KAMI : Oh, yes...In the same way that, when people say they do "Traditional Aikido", they're implying that the rest of us do "un-traditional"(???) Aikido.
Or worse, when they say they do "combat Aikido" which implies that we are "non-combative"...
Or "hard Aikido" (what does that make us? Jelly?...) :(
Ach, so! Anyway, I may not like you but I would like to know if your technique is good or not without any personal bias.

I would have to agree that using a title like 'real aikido' seems absolutely pretentious and suggests that people would not believe it was real aikido unless they gave it that title. (a bit like the 'real' IRA are not really the IRA).

I don't think it can be compared to the use of 'traditional' aikido - which I have generally used as a term to describe aikido which isn't defined by other terms e.g. Yoshinkan, Ueshiba etc, and also helps differentiate between Tomiki and 'other forms'. (Otherwise when people ask what type of aikido I do I just have to say - I just do aikido, but that applies to everyone).
