Hi everyone, I'm Gerry Cochrane, and I've had the privledge of studying & practising Ki Aikido for about six and a half years now,and I've reached the first rung of the ladder ( 1st Dan). I've been very fortunate in having a great sensei, within the Ki Federation of Great Britain.

I've been reading the Aikiweb for some time without joining in,and I thought it's about time i corrected that, so here I am.
I hope I can bring the same level of honesty, humility, respect and concern for all members (even when I disagree with their view ) that I've seen displayed in all the forums I've watched. And if I can do it with a measure of humour (where appropriate) then even better, we all benefit by smiling more.

I'm also the husband of Becky ( poor, long suffering woman), and the overwhelmingly proud daddy to two beautiful daughters, Jody (3 yrs) and Megan (1 yr).

There, intro's over, that's me,look forward to discussing things with you soon.

Best wishes

Gerry Cochrane

Thanks Mark,
It must be great to practise in such lovely surroundings, I do like Devon, Becky's parents live in Bideford.

How long have you been practising?

It not about who has the most, but who needs the least
