The blade has been sharpened traditionally and is good for tameshigiri(practical cutting exercises) .
The tsuka(handle)is battle wrap in dark purple with dragon fly menuki.
Blade length 28''
Tsuka length 14''
The hamon is a sanbonsugi(three cedars)
