I am looking for the japanese characters or calligraphy for the 4 principles of Aikido (Keep One Point, Keep Weight Underside, Extend Ki and Relax Completely).

心身統一の四大原則 Shinshin touitsu no yon dai gensoku Four Major Principles to Unify Mind and Body
1. 臍下の一点に心をしずめ統一する Seika no itten ni kokoro wo shizume toitsu suru Keep one point
2. 全身の力を完全に抜く Zenshin no chikara wo kanzen ni nuku Relax completely
3. 身体の総ての部分の重みを、その最下部におく Karada no subete no bubun no omomi wo sono saikabu ni oku Keep weight underside
4. 氣を出す Ki wo dasu Extend ki.

Do you know where I can find it in Kanji? I think what you posted was hiragana. I'm hoping that the Kanji will be shorter.

Japanese is written in with a combination of kanji and hiragana (and at times katakana). There's no shorter version, unless written in Chinese.

yeah, that's how they get away with not having spaces between words, everyotherwordiseitherKANJIorHIRAGANAorKATAKANA. So such thing as an all kanji japanese sentence.

Looks good on a wall but you wouldn't survive the tattoo. Best, Tom Fish
