OK, so I probably should have joined the forums several years ago...especially given that I have the t-shirt (literally, Jun gave me one a while back as a thankyou).
My name is Pat, I'm an aikido student living and working in downtown Toronto Canada. I've been practicing about 16 years now, in various places and have been an active member of aikido-l for 13 of those. Any one coming through Toronto should come visit...I teach a couple of our morning classes, and always welcome guests.
Cheers
Pat

No freakin way, Pat. I can't believe you just joined aikiweb now. You mean I did something aikido-ish before you? <grin>
Glad to see you here...hope to get to throw you around sometime in the near future. It's been too long!
Hi Pat,
Nice to see you here. Thank you for posting an introduction and welcome to AikiWeb. Hope you're doing well these days.

Hey Rachel,
Yes, it's me...same guy, same hakama :) Missed you at camp this past summer :( I took a couple of our students down with me (Fran couldn't make it), and had to make a bunch of new friends as none of the 'old' ones were there :) Maybe next year?
Or you could just come visit :)

Well hello there Pat! I had to signoff Aikido-L while being hit with 1,000 spams a day and wandered over here to keep up with the A-world. Nice to see you!
Cheers!

Woo hoo! Hey Pat! My husband was up in T this weekend and I should have come and joined him and practiced at the dojo. One day soon. I've been working so much (new job) that I don't practice nearly as much as I should, and have unfortunately gotten really horribly fat and out of shape. Going to Summer Camp would likely kill me, but I am still practicing and you will see me around soon. Miss you guys!
Hugs from Ann Arbor, and hey to the dojo and Fran of course.
Rachel

Hi Pat,
Welcome to Aikiweb.
An ex-student of mine from Trinidad used to train at Aikido Shugyo Dojo. Does the name Derek David ring a bell?
Hope you have fun on the site.

Thanks Larry,
The name doesn't ring a bell. I've only been at Shugyo since 2000. Before that I spent several years in Guelph ON, with a short stint wandering aimlessly in the middle...
