Hello everybody.
My name is Eivind, I´m 42, and I´ve been training Aikido for 2 years.
When things went really sour between me and my former teacher, I was very pleased to learn that there was another teacher that had moved to the area and wanted to start a new dojo. I aquired a reasonably priced training room, and bought 63 sq.metres of tatamis. Tonight will be our fifth training session. We are 4 adults and 6 children (of wich 4 are mine) so far. Training with Ruedi is very inspirational for all of us.
Hope to find new friends in this forum!
Yours Eivind Bjertnes, Hamar, Norway.

Welcome to AikiWeb.
I applaud your dedication to training by buying mats and finding a space. Well done.

Hei pa deg:
Velkommen. Min bestefar komer fra Trondheim (Frosta). Jeg snakker bare lit Norsk.
Hope my spelling and grammar are ok. I used to study a little Norwegian but I"m pretty rusty at it having not used it much in the last 12 years. It's my heritage. I'm sure your English is much better than my Norwegian.

Hi and welcome. :D
ps. I Wonder what would happen if I spoke my native language. . .
I think I can be confident that you will think it's weird. But here goes, welcome in Afrikaans:
Baie welkom en ek hoop jy maak baie goeie herhinneringe in Aikido!
