From a T-Shirt I saw somewhere...
How many Aikidoka's does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Two: One to perform the technique and one to take the fall.
Three: Two to practice and one to correct the mistakes.
Eleven: One to change it and ten to say 'That's nice, but we do it differently in our Dojo'.
Lots: A Sensei to demonstrate and explain the subtleties of the circular motions needed to project the bulb into the socket... and a whole class full of students to miss the point.
One Black Belt: But it takes a long time to try all the possible variations.
One Instructor: But first they willl show you five ways to do it wrong before doing it the right way.
One Beginner: But the lightbulb must initiate an attack.
