I have landed here in search of new knowledge. I am a 28 year old College Student from Southern California looking to join the Aikido community. I have approx. 3 years of Karate experience when I was a kid probably 20 years ago. I was instructed at Red Dragon Karate in Upland, California under Shihan Thomas Cosgrove. I really enjoyed Kata and Weapons and received my first trophy when I was an orange belt. My trophy was for 2nd place Kata with the Bo Staff. I was removed from Karate when I had braces to straighten my teeth. I thing my mother thought her investment in my teeth would be endangered. Now that that's over and I have matured I am ready to venture into a new world. So, for the most part I don't remember a whole lot from my past Karate experiences. I have been married to my beautiful wife for one year and I plan to start a family sometime in the near future.
