Just a wee message to let you know that I´ve joined your forum folks.

You can see my name. I´m 25, from Glasgow, which to those of you who don´t know, is in sunny Scotland. However, I live in Barcelona. Which is obviously slightly lacking in culture when compared to Glasgow but the weather´s better and the women are slimmer.

I´ve been at the Aikido for just over a year, so I´m a relative novice. I suppose some of you boys and girls know your stuff, so I´m looking forward to absorbing some of your collective wisdom.

I was wondering if any of you can recommend a decent Dojo in Barcelona. I´ve been here for about three months and went to one dojo and did not return. It would be nice if anyone knew of one where english was spoken but I need to improve my spanish anyway.

Well that´s my wee intro over, I hope you enjoyed it.

Adios amigos!

Welcome to Aikido, Ewan. Try the 'Dojo Search', at the middle and left of this page. Or you can use this 'Dojo Search' (http://www.aikiweb.com/search/)

Just remember there are lots of cognate nouns in spanish, which seem more familiar written than spoken. Enjoy the slim, er, I mean the atmosphere and training! ;)

Hola Ewan,

Saludos.

Shortly:

Try the link i posted, if you need more info ask there directly. PM me if you need help with language.
