View Full Version : AikiWeb Server Back Up
Hi folks,
Well, I'm still working on things in the background, but I think I have things fixed enough to re-launch the site again in hopes things are stable enough for people to reconvene.
Please do let me know either here in this thread or by using the "Send E-mail" at the bottom of the page if you run into any problems.
I regret any inconvenience the downtime of the AikiWeb server may have caused to anyone.
Thanks,
-- Jun
PS: I may have to reboot the server occasionally over the next few days. Please bear with me...

It was longer than that, the better part of week, and more distressful for me because I couldn't tell if it was Aikiweb or my computer.
But thanks for bringing it back up, Jun!

Many, many thanks, Jun.
Thanks Jun,
You are doing a great job keeping AikiWeb running. I hope it wasn't the negative Ki on some of the threads that was responsible for the shut down.

Onegaishimasu. Good to see things back to some type of normal. I also spent a week wondering what was wrong, my computer, or whatever. I even shot you an email that revealed a mail failure!

I don't know what you guys are talking about, I was able to access it the whole time! Maybe it is because I have tapped my KI and i still was able to "see" and "communicate" with the aikiweb community! :)
Hi folks,
I'm touched by all of your thoughts regarding the website and the efforts I put into keeping it up. Your thoughts let me know that this site is appreciated by the community. Thank you!

Thanks Jun! I am having trouble getting the July columns section to come up in PDF format, not sure if anyone else is having this issue.
Hi Eric,
I'll take a look at the PDF download bug.
Thanks,

Please do let me know either here in this thread or by using the "Send E-mail" at the bottom of the page if you run into any problems.Hey Jun! Glad to see Aikiweb back up and everyone back in action.
Another bug may remain however. I've been trying to send you an ad (and money!!) for weeks. Initially the Sponsored Links page simply didn't come up. Now the page appears to behave as it should, but when I send the info, a line at the bottom appears warning: "Error sending e-mail". A second line follows stating "Successful."
I suspect the first line is correct as this still hasn't gone through.
Can this be repaired or shall I snail mail a check?
Cheers!
Carol Shifflett
Hi Carol,
I'll take a look. Please e-mail me privately regarding this.

trying to upload a photo.
I never tried to do this before, it may not be related to this last crash.
Here's the error:
Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 127
