I started my Aikido training in Jan of 2005 and I have loved every minute of it. I initially was going to start with a friend who mentioned getting into a martial arts but wasn't sure which direction to go in. So we checked out a karate dojo :yuck: it was not at all what we wanted to get into so she then mentioned Aikido and I said well that sounds different okay lets give it a try. So the next day I show up and am waiting outside for her. She never shows up... and she was the one who spoke with sensei and seemed very interested. Reguardless of that I moved forward and I wouldn't be where I am today without her. I just wanted to say hi to the aikido community and i hope to share many conversations with all of you. :ai: :ki: :do:
