I was wondering how many people on this forum who practice aikido are also active amateur radio users as well? Especially active on HF? I'm just wondering. I'm thinking of getting myself an HF rig as soon as I can afford it (perhaps many months from now, but still), and it'd be cool if I can get some QSL cards from fellow aikido students.

I forgot to put it in my hobbies list...
sadly though I haven't yet taken the test which would allow me to use the bands below 30 Mhz. I live in the UK, so I'm a class B, callsign is G7MRC - if you ever hear me there'd have to be an amazing lift on!

Nice to hear from you. I'm only a technician with HF privileges, which means I can only do CW on anything below 10m, and have restricted band access at that. However, I hope to take my General-class exam (and maybe even Extra) in the not too distant future. It all depends on work schedule... :(
