We don't need no stink'in shock knifes. We can all fire lightning bolts from our fingers thanks to our overly strong ki energy! *grins evilly* Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeesh....

The Shocknife is way cool, but I prefer the Edison T-shirts. :D
oh the stabby stabby thoughts evileyes
We noticed a level of unrealism in the attacks during randori. Therefore I got several lengths of plastic tubing and covered them in pipe insulation (taping them on). They are like bokkens, which allow a sudden hard attack (and encourage such an attack), and they cause a slight bit of pain and a whacking noise without causing any bruising or injury. Highly recommended and about $497 cheaper than the 'shock-knife'.

Ian, I now have images of your students buying a LARP katana (http://www.lrpstore.com/product.asp?product_id=KATANA) to come and train with you. *shivers*
Somehow, I find that more scary than the shocknife... Don't know why.
