In January, our dojo changes affiliations from Aikido Association of America to the newly formed Aikido World Alliance. I'll refrain from saying anything about the reasons, because there are other people out there much more qualified to do so, and they aren't saying anything on public messageboards. Everything carries on in our new little dojo without a hiccup, and we have our first in house kyu tests in February with Sato sensei in attendance.
I think I'll move this over to being a current weblog now-- that's most of the history I wanted to get out of the way. Hopefully it will be of interest to some.
