Just stumbled upon the blog section and thought it would be a great idea to keep a "journal" of my progress and/or digress.

I'm going into my second month of training at the moment and my main focus is footwork and breathing. I'm constantly holding my breath while rolling and falling. In the beginning I was also "dancing" a lot with my feet while trying to perform techniques. I think it has a lot to do with being unsure of my positioning.

Right now the list of things-to-work-on seems endless. I need to work on my rolls, footwork, breathing, timing, smoothness, relaxation, positioning, distance...EVERYTHING!

But like my blog says; i'm in it for the long haul. See you on the other side.

Hey, don't sweat it. I've been doing this for about 15 years, and guess what? I need to work on my rolls, footwork, breathing, timing, smoothness, relaxation, positioning, distance...EVERYTHING! Best, Ron
