Well just when I finally get back to training the weather turns cold over here, and since I have spent all my life in a warm sunny climate I instantly get the flu. So all this week I have been the rampant snot monster and have decided that it would be more hygenic for all concerned if I stayed away from the Dojo. I'm sure all the others that train there appreciate it . I have taken a couple of days off work as well and while the flu hasn't gone completely my nose no longer resembles some apparatus for extinguishing fires. Will be back on the mats next Tuesday ready to go once again.
Meanwhile I sneer at the microbes that cause the flu and say 'Is that the best you've got... Ha! I laugh in your general direction. I have sudafed and I'm not afraid to use it'.
