As we are all dying
Slowly, each and every day
(Well, some do die more quickly)
Should there not
Be a Way for something
As important as this?
A Way to guide us
Through this life-long process
Particularly in a time
Of peace and prosperity
Where a martial code mindset
May no longer apply
Some say that bushido
Is this Way
A Way to live in expectation
Of death at any moment
Actually, to live as one
Already dead
Interesting...but
Is there another Way?
I prefer a Way of Dying While navigating through life
And certainly recognizing death
But, preparing one to live, not die
A Hagakure for life, for today
Joyously each and every day
