There is a place I go to
Where I can find shelter
Support, relief from suffering
It's not too far away
But, sometimes it is hard
To get to, so hard to get to
So I wait, I wait, I wait
I wait till it is ready
Ready to open, open for me
It can't be forced
I breathe deeply, deeply
Bringing in all my pain
And exhaling it all out
All of it, all of it
In and out, in and out
Till there is nothing left
Nothing left, except my place
My place of shelter
So calm, so peaceful, so close
Yet, sometimes so far
But I wait patiently
For my mind, my heart, my spirit
To come together and let me in
In to my shelter
