My self-power is weak
And my capacity for understanding shallow
Hence, I engage in various activities
That give me pleasure of the flesh
And all my other senses
The faults of my body and soul are many
Still, my Hashi welcomes me
To his monastery with open arms
And each time I visit
He sits with me and listens
To all my tales of woe
Not once has he attempted
To make me change my ways
He says I am perfect the way I am
I do not understand this man
But I love him
