Arrogant, armed, and assholic
With a small talent
For mayhem and violence
Not much of a resume
But, unfortunately, they
Can be found everywhere
Strutting, focused on belly and phallus
Foot-soldiers for those
Who see the future
In terms of greed and power
Self-indulgence and authority
Rather than responsibility, self-control,
Understanding, and community
At first the Way of the Sword
Has a surface appeal
Till a bewildered understanding
Takes place or is imposed
For it is not easy for some
To understand or value
That a sword in the sheath is priceless, or
That the cleanest cut is the cut withheld
And to comprehend the Sword of No-Sword, even less so
For those focused only on Something
This is impossible to understand
Or to grasp that only the Sword of No-Sword
Is sharp enough to cut Nothing
