Well, I finally did it. I went to my first night of Aikido, like I have told myself I would for our years. I think I did alright, though I am definitley no natural. I don't recall much (read: any) of what I saw done so expertly by the Sensei and the other students.
I will go again on monday, and buy a Gi, because I feel like dressing poutside the norm shows disrespect to the Dojo, the traditions, and the other students. I think i will also stay after the class on monday to do some additional training one on one, if that is possible.
I don't know how to use this journal exactly, and if anyone else reads it and feels I have used this service innapropriately, I am here, as I was last night, ready and eager for your helpful advice.
